More than a simple digital booth
Pick a backdrop on screen. The Party Pod does the rest.
Guests interact with the booth themselves, choose the virtual backdrop they want and take their photos. The real background is removed automatically and replaced digitally — no green screen and no physical backdrop required.
We provide a standard selection of virtual backdrops, including event-friendly options such as balloon arches and milestone-age designs. If you have something specific in mind, get in touch before the event and we can look at creating an option to suit it.
Prefer to use your own physical backdrop? No problem. We can simply switch the background-removal feature off.

How the Party Pod hire works
Choose your design
Once booked, choose from thousands of designs. You can select a one, two, three or four-photo layout before the event and we personalise it for you.
We set it up during the day
Setup is usually between 10am and 4pm. Because this is an unattended daytime setup, an exact setup time cannot be booked, so please check that your venue will be open and able to give us access.
Enjoy it all night
The booth is completely unmanned and unlimited for the full night. We collect either just after the party or by noon the following day.
Great for smaller spaces
Flexible setup without a bulky backdrop
The Party Pod is a slim, self-contained booth and works particularly well where space is limited.
For virtual background removal, we ideally point the camera towards a wall behind the guests. If the room is tight, we can switch background removal off and position the Party Pod against a wall facing out instead.

The £199 is the Party Pod hire price — your two 4ft light-up numbers are essentially a free extra.
Choose two available numbers to suit your birthday or engagement celebration. They stay at the venue for the full night and are collected with the Party Pod. Number availability is confirmed when you book.
If you would rather hire the Party Pod on its own, that is available by request.

Questions people usually ask
Is the Party Pod staffed?
No. It is completely unmanned. We set it up during the day, leave it ready for your event and collect it afterwards.
What time will you set it up?
Setup is usually between 10am and 4pm. An exact setup time cannot be booked, so please make sure the venue will be open and does not have an earlier event that would prevent access.
When is it collected?
Collection is either just after the party or by noon the following day.
Does the Party Pod print photos?
No. The Party Pod is deliberately a digital-only, lower-cost Foxy photo booth option. Guests share their photos instantly and you receive the online gallery too.
How do guests get their photos?
Each finished photo can be shared straight from the booth by AirDrop, SMS, QR code or email.
Do I get all of the photos after the event?
Yes. Photos upload to the event gallery as the night happens, so the gallery can technically be viewed live and is available for download after the event.
Does it need venue Wi-Fi?
We bring our own internet connection, although this depends on mobile signal. We can also use the venue Wi-Fi where available.
Can I choose my own digital backgrounds?
Guests choose from the backdrop selection on screen when they use the booth. We include a standard selection and can add event-specific options such as virtual balloon arches and milestone-age designs. If there is something particular you want, contact us before the event.
Can I use my own backdrop?
Yes. If you want to use your own physical backdrop, we can switch off background removal and use the Party Pod as a normal digital booth.
Can guests make GIFs or boomerangs?
Yes. Multi-shot photo templates can automatically create GIFs, and boomerang videos are also available.
Are props included?
No. Because the booth is unattended we do not supply props with the Party Pod, but you are welcome to provide your own.
Is it suitable for children's parties?
The Party Pod sits a little higher than some of our other booths, so it is generally best suited to guests aged around 12 and above.
Can I hire it without the 4ft numbers?
Yes. Party Pod-only hire is available by request.
