Pricing and booking
How much does photo booth hire cost?
Pricing depends on the event date, location, booth choice, hire length and extras. Foxy uses live availability and exact package pricing rather than relying on vague public from-prices across the main site.
Can I check availability online?
Yes. Use the availability checker to enter your date and event location. It will show suitable package options where available.
Can I reserve a date without paying a deposit?
No. Dates are not held without a confirmed booking and deposit.
Can my date be transferred?
Booking dates can usually be transferred subject to availability and the terms of your booking.
Booths, prints and digital sharing
Which booth is best for a wedding?
Halo, Oval, Vintage Pod and FotoBox are the most common printed wedding choices. The best option depends on the venue style, space, guest numbers and whether you want an open-air or enclosed booth.
Do guests get prints?
Printed booth packages can include instant prints. Digital-only options such as the Party Pod focus on phone sharing rather than printed photos.
What is the difference between 2x6 and 4x6 prints?
2x6 prints are photo strips and usually come as matching strip sets per visit. 4x6 prints are postcard-style prints. The right format depends on your template style and whether you are using a guest book.
Do photos upload during the event?
Where the booth has a working internet connection, photos can upload during the event and galleries are available during and after the event depending on the package.
Setup, space and venues
How much space does a booth need?
It depends on the booth. Open-air booths usually need room for the booth, backdrop and guests. Enclosed and 360 setups need more planned floor space. If space is tight, send venue details before booking.
Do booths need power?
Yes. Most booths need access to a standard 13A socket near the setup area.
Can booths be set up outside?
Printed booths should only be outdoors if the area is properly covered, level, dry and has a hard floor. Outdoor plans should be checked before booking.
Do you bring props?
Staffed booths can include props depending on the style of booth and event. Glam black and white setups usually look better without props. Party Pod does not include props.
Templates, backdrops and extras
Can we choose our template?
Yes. Customers are sent template selection details before the event so wording and design choices can be matched to the booking.
Can we choose a backdrop?
Yes. Backdrop options depend on the booth and availability. The backdrop gallery is the best starting point.
Can we add an audio guest book?
Yes. Audio guest book hire can be added to many wedding and party bookings and is also available as a standalone option depending on the date.
Do you cover my area?
Foxy regularly covers Glasgow, Edinburgh, Lanarkshire, Stirling, Falkirk, Perth, Fife, Ayrshire, Paisley and Loch Lomond, with selected longer-distance events depending on the date and travel.
